Eutelsat announces to us that Hotbird1 will remain with 13°E until September 2006 while waiting for the successful launching of the Hotbird8 satellite envisaged in July by a Proton rocket.
Hotbird4 which does not have any more any transponder used currently with 13°E, will join very soon the position 7°W in order to increase the capacity of service of the Nilesat operator who has 2 satellites with this position (Nilesat 101 and 102). With this occasion, Hotbird4 should be famous Nilesat 103.
